Significantly fewer occupational illnesses last year

(27.03.2024) The number of reports of suspected occupational diseases fell by more than 60 per cent in 2023. This is according to preliminary figures from the Germans social accident insurance institutions for the past year, which their association, the DGUV, published today.

Survey among firefighters: Insults and threats are a sad everyday occurrence on duty

(28.12.2023) Experiences of violence on duty are not uncommon for volunteer firefighters. This is the result of a nationwide survey of members of volunteer fire brigades conducted by the DFV together with the DGUV and presented today.
