Delegation from the Republikc of Korea at the HGU

In July 2019, 40 social insurance employees of the Korea Workers' Compensation & Welfare Service (COMWEL) will take part in a one-week training course of the DGUV in case management. The course will take place at the Campus Hennef of the DGUV Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences (HGU). A Letter of Intent was signed in Hennef on 2 May 2019. The advanced training course is part of the long-term cooperation between COMWEL and DGUV with the aim of supporting COMWEL in the further development of rehabilitation management geard towards professional reintegration. COMWEL and the DGUV have for many years been engaged in intensive cooperation in the fields of prevention and rehabilitation.

Accident Insurance and prevention institutions from different countries have already signalled their interest in cooperating with the DGUV in the area of training and further education, which underlines the reference character of our system.
